MAJ Joseph Hegtvedt

MAJ Hegtvedt enlisted in the United States Army, after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, 13 October 2010. He completed Basic Combat Training and commissioned through Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA, followed by Engineer Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He served as the XO/Operations Officer for the 671 Multi-Role Bridge Company, Company Commander for HHD, 655 Regional Support Group, and S3 for the 321 Engineer Battalion. MAJ Hegtvedt has also served as the Plans Officer, 980 Engineer Battalion, Plans Officer, 655 Regional Support Group, Instructor/ School Operations OIC, 83 United State Army Reserve Readiness Training Center. He was deployed to Jordan in support of Operation Spartan Shield as the Assistant S3 for Area Support Group-Jordan in 2019. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
