Rosanne "Rose" Krueger served with distinction as an administrative professional in the Department of Military Science, Michigan State University Army ROTC Program, dedicating 29 years of service prior to her retirement on June 1, 2019.
She began her career as a Secretary and progressed to the position of Operations Manager through sustained excellence, professionalism, and organizational expertise. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Krueger provided critical support to both military and civilian personnel, playing a key role in planning and executing major departmental events, including Military Balls, Veterans Day observances, award ceremonies, Commissioning ceremonies, tailgates, and new Cadet welcome activities.
Ms. Krueger was instrumental in the management of departmental funding from military and university sources, ensuring the effective resourcing of Cadet programs. She maintained detailed records of Cadet awards and accomplishments, contributing to the recognition and development of future Army officers.
Working in collaboration with a longtime colleague, Kris McClintic, she helped establish and maintain a robust Cadet, alumni, and former cadre database, significantly enhancing the department’s alumni engagement efforts and supporting long-term development initiatives, including endowments and donations.
Ms. Krueger’s contributions reflect a career marked by loyalty, professionalism, and dedication to mission success. Her legacy continues to benefit the MSU Army ROTC community and the Cadets she served throughout nearly three decades of distinguished civilian service.
In recognition of the great credit her exemplary service, outstanding leadership, and dedicated commitment have brought to Michigan State University, Rosanne “Rose” Kruger is hereby inducted into the MSU Army ROTC Hall of Fame, this twenty-third day of October, two thousand twenty-five, the one hundred twenty-fifth year of Military Science at MSU.
